Learn how to render beautiful stills in Artlantis. From a model imported from another modelling program, you’ll learn how to apply and modify textures; how to light a scene; add objects like people and trees, before setting up cameras and rendering your stills.
Pre-requisites: You have models from another app that you want to create visuals for.
Who is this for? This course is for designers who want quality renders quickly. It’s not for the pro-visualiser who wants deep levels of fine-tuning, but the designer who wishes to produce a quality image in a short amount of time. The app is designed to be intuitively simple and this course will teach you how to get the best out of it.
At the end of the day… you’ll be able to create beautiful still images of your model, whether that’s an exterior or an interior. You’ll be confident in creating realistically rendered still of your scene.
This course will teach you how to render perspective views and orthographical (partly see-through) views of your model. All our the modelling apps we use export to Artlantis, so in this course you'll learn how to import your model into Artlantis, then learn the skills it takes to produce a beautiful rendered still image.
You’ll learn about these four core areas…
Learn how to render beautiful animations with moving parts and objects. With the fundamental skills of lighting and rendering stills in your tool belt, on this course we’ll learn how to set up animations. We cover camera movement, panoramas, moving lights and objects, and much more.
Pre-requisites: This course requires Rendering Essentials knowledge.
Who is this course for? Anyone who wants to go beyond creating stills. If you want to create dynamic outputs of your model, this course is for you. The style is primarily photo-realistic but you can also create artistic styles too.
By the end of the day… you can expect to confidently create walkthrough animations, immersive VR panoramas, and object movies for your models.
There are three types of animation we cover…
